and to get back to doing this regularly...it's been wayyyyyy too long jiggly bits :P

it's been a weird week around here.  the hubs was off work on monday and is again today...thus the late post.  i'm trying to regulate our schedules to work for the baby's nap (i'm sleep training her a bit right now), mack's preschool, play dates, work, the hubs, chores...and well...life.  i don't think i'll ever get it perfectly scheduled and hey, who am i kidding, some of the funnest moments in life are the unscheduled ones, but i do know that in our house we all work better on routine and schedules.  especially me.

this weekend is supposed to be hot, hot, hot!  we had some hot days this week that i have to admit bummed me out a bit.  i'm not much for really hot weather and especially not one for it when i just started to get my jiggy on with the pumpkin spice lattes.  i mean c'mon weather, i had just broke out my sweaters and dare i say fall clothes & boots.  i started looking at them longingly, like old friends, remembering the joy in being able to cover up my body in cozy sweaters and warm boots.  thus the need to get back into shape.  the time has come.

the hubs and i have been seriously slacking on our fitness lately.  having the new baby and trying to work as much as i do for the blog has left this momma zero time to do anything else but i realize what an important part of my life it is and that i have to just make the time.  that overhang is not gonna get itself gone i tell ya as much as i tell it to f*#k off on a regular basis.  so i'm embracing the cold weather months with being able to run outside again without sweaty boobs hanging out everywhere and being mad that i can't run in tight shorts and a bra like the other super mommas who sprint around flaunting their post baby 6 packs.  it's enough motivation to me right there to get off the couch just so i can chase them down and ask them how the heck they do it and could they share their secret with me.

so for this weekend i'm going to try to get some me time in, hang with my knitting gals to the wee hours of the morning, spend some fun times with my family, sew, sew, sew, knit, knit, knit, takes some photographs with the hubs (cross your fingers we don't kill each other come monday) and just relax and enjoy!

what are you all up to?  do you have any new fitness goals for the fall?  should we all take down our jiggly bits together?  any fun plans?  let's chat!
