FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
WHAT CAN I DO NOW FROM NOW UNTIL THE START DATE - I'M SO EXCITED TO CAST ON!
You can pop on over to our Ravelry Group and join in on the TTTKAL Chat Thread!! This is where all the action happens! It's the heart of the knit along with friendships being made, advice being shared, projects being drooled over and lots of fun! It truly makes me so happy to see you all enjoying these annual knit alongs so thank you all again for knitting along with me!
I'M NOT SURE WHICH PATTERN TO MAKE? DO YOU HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS? WHAT ARE THE RULES?
Check out our Tops, Tanks & Tees Ravelry Bundle and also our TTTKAL Pinterest Board. Also the Pre-TTTKAL Thread has lots of pattern chatter, recommendations and great ideas! Pop on in and join the convo!
The only rule for this knit along is that you can't use full length sleeves. Elbow length and 3/4 are good to go! You can also join in with WIP's and make projects for little ones or the men in your life!
I'VE NEVER MADE A SUMMER GARMENT BEFORE WHAT KIND OF YARNS SHOULD I USE?
We LOVE linen and cotton yarns for warm weather wear! Check out this handy post from Pom Pom Quarterly from last year's KAL all about Choosing Yarns for Warm Weather!
A few we adore are Quince & Co.'s Sparrow and Kestrel for linen weights and their Willet for cotton. There are so many lovely fibres to knit with for summer yarns and we will be exploring them more throughout the KAL.
So....will you be joining us? What project are you thinking of making? I can't wait to see what you make!
