SEWING || WHAT I'M SEWING FOR SUMMER

Now that the weather has warmed up I'm seriously dying to sew up some new summer staples! I've been drooling over all the new patterns that have been popping up that are perfect for my warm weather wardrobe and for layering throughout the year!

Here's my faves that I've been eyeing! I've got 4 patterns ready to tape together and hopefully get sewn up this month (fingers crossed).

TANKS, TEES & SHORTS

I've been in a "I need more summer tanks and tees" phase right now. I've been so excited to see so many patterns come out in the last few months providing tons of options and styles for some fabulous garments! I wish I had more time to sew or my closet would already be full!

With so many wonderful new knits and linens to sew them up in and gorgeous woven I just know I'm going to have a hard time choosing fabrics for each pattern.

I also need a new pair of shorts and found myself loving the look of Sew Caroline's Parkside Shorts (& skirt) pattern. I hope to try to sew a pair of these up. Then I'm dying to finally make a pair of Hudson pants (thinking of doing them in a woven following the tutorial on True Bias). I've had that pattern for eons and just haven't had time to make them yet.

I know there aren't any dresses but that's because I'm all about the tanks & tees this summer! Comfy, stylish, versatile and so fun to sew!

What are you sewing for the summer? Anything fun? I'd love to hear about it!
