BOOK REVIEW & GIVEAWAY || TEXTURE BY HANNAH FETTIG

It's no secret that I'm a fan of Hannah Fettig's (of KnitBot) patterns and her books. I adore her clean aesthetic and styling and was happy to see her newest book - Texture: Exploring Stitch Patterns in Knitwear, is filled with patterns that allow what Hannah does best shine!

Texture: Exploring Stitch Patterns in Knitwear draws on author Hannah Fetter's "experience as a knitting designer and educator to help you make beautiful, wearable knitwear using textured stitches and cables. Texture features a brand-new collection of thirteen sweaters and accessories, divided into three sections: Delicate Texture for pretty, drapey garments you can dress up or down; Everyday Texture for durable, versatile wardrobe essentials; and Big Texture for dramatic, eye-catching cardigans and cowls."

As well as including the above sections, Texture also includes tons of tips, advice and how to's. Hannah explains "how to plan for perfect-fitting, wearable knitwear, explains how fibre content, yarn weight, and spin can effect knit fabric, and more!"

You'll also find Hannah teaching you how to master the use of cables, and more complex combinations of knit and purl stitches in a way that is approachable and easy to understand. Texture is a wonderful book that's great for beginners and advanced knitters. Hannah makes her garment and accessory patterns easy to follow, knit and wear.
