Which came first - the blog or the etsy store ?
You sell gorgeous handmade camera straps! I love them all! How did you start selling them and how have you found the experience of having an etsy store?
My experience owning an Etsy shop has been great, actually. Etsy makes it really easy to open a shop and start selling right away. It's very user friendly, and I recommend it to everyone. My husband is, however, working on a website for me. He is a software developer, and a complete genius when it comes to computer everything, so look out for my website coming soon. I need to finish a photo shoot for my site and then it will be up.
Well, if you've seen my blog, you'd likely know that my favorite subjects are obviously my girls. :) I love taking pictures of them, whether they love it or not. ha ha! I can capture their essence any time of the day, which is very convenient... If you want to know professional what my favorite subjects are to photograph, then that answer is easy. I LOVE photographing pregnant mama's and newborns.
You have 2 beautiful girls, Angelina and Zoe and you are a wife to husband Mike. How do you balance the etsy shop/blog/photography with being a mom/wife? Any tips for us?

i was so excited to stumble upon the new online gallery "lovely clusters". rachel already has a blog under the same name and this is an extension of it that is a wonderful and gorgeous collection of beautiful handmade goods by designers and artists linking to their shops. the icing on the cake is that you can shop by color cluster! yes, dreamy shoppers rejoice! pick your fave colour and then get clicking. she's teamed up with vicki from "simply hue" and together they have made what is sure to be one of my fave places to shop!

it was quite the task to keep little mackenzie from sprinting up to the alter and grabbing her daddy. she had a bit of a cry and a flee for escape during the first few minutes then thankfully the characters of "in the night garden" came to the rescue!
mackenzie takes after her momma and danced until she couldn't dance anymore. she was seriously the life of the party - i only wish she could remember how fun it was! she danced more than any other adult there, it was fabulously hilarious and sweet at the same time.

my omi was here staying with us for a few days this week and we had lots of fun showing her the town, party planning for her 80th bday next month, and indulging in lots of yummy meals! she spoiled us rotten! mackenzie and her were fast friends and couldn't seem to stop swapping jewelry. we miss you already and love you lots omi - thanks for the visit!!!!!!

we live in victoria, bc which is the home of the beautiful beacon hill park filled with bright, cheerful and full bloom flowers galore at the moment. we had a recent visit there when my hubbies folks were in town visiting. needless to say i couldn't resist all the flower shots and of course, feeding the cutest little squirrel that ate right out of my hand! so precious.
i mentioned that my lovely grandma is coming to stay with us for a few days and i thought i would whip her up a set of some fun quilted coasters. **warning - these can be addictive!
